
MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- A wanted woman was found along with a toddler Saturday in Merced.
The California Highway Patrol released a flier indicating that the suspect -- 28-year-old Selena Bass-Vasquez, who was considered armed and dangerous -- had been located.
Merced Police confirmed they took her into custody yesterday.
Authorities also found a 1-year-old boy, who was the victim at the center of an at-risk/missing person investigation.
Prior to finding the pair, the CHP says the boy had last been seen around 1 p.m. in Merced Saturday.
Law enforcement had been searching for them, believing they were travelling in a dark silver Toyota CHR.
