Woman killed in Highway 99 crash in Fresno identified

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities have identified a woman who was struck and killed on Highway 99 in Fresno last month.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 41-year-old Grace Martinez was hit around 10 p.m. April 17 near Highway 99 and North Avenue.

Officials said the driver who struck Martinez remained at the scene following the crash.

Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors.
