Deputies make $5.8 million pot bust in Tulare County
The Tulare County Sheriff's Office served search warrants at 63 different grow sites near Plainview and Strathmore after they were detected in a flyover.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Deputies in the South Valley have cleared out dozens of illegal marijuana grows. The Tulare County Sheriff's Office served search warrants at 63 different grow sites near Plainview and Strathmore after they were detected in a flyover.



Deputies seized more than 5,800 marijuana plants during the two-day operation, along with 55 pounds of processed pot and $11,000 in cash. Deputies also discovered three honey oil labs. Eleven people were arrested.



Deputies say the drugs confiscated have a street value, if matured, of more than $5.8 million.
