We are waking up to decent air quality with most of the valley under a moderate and Madera the one spot that is seeing good air quality. Temperatures are a bit on the warm side in the 60s and 70s. Compared to this time yesterday we are a bit cooler. This afternoon we will continue to see above average temperatures as high pressure continues to strengthen. We will be in the upper 80s by noon and reach a high of 99 for Fresno today with a few spots possibly warming in to the triple digits. Above average temperatures continue this entire week with highs in the upper 90s that will continue through Friday. Air quality will be unhealthy for everyone in Fresno, and Tulare then unhealthy for sensitive groups for everyone else. Air quality could potentially get worse this week as high pressure is not expected to move until the weekend. This weekend we will finally start to cool down in to the upper 80s and low 90s. There is still no rain in our seven day forecast.
