Katy ISD apologizes after robocalls incident

KATY, TX Just before the November election, parents in the district got robocalls on their home, work, even cell phones telling them to vote in favor of the bond proposition.

The district says when it released those numbers it thought it was in accordance with privacy laws, but turns out it wasn't.

The superintendent sent out his apology after the district admitted the privacy violation to 13 Undercover.
