19-year-old man hospitalized after being shot in Merced

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are trying to learn more about a shooting that sent a 19-year-old man to the hospital.

Merced Police say the man was shot in the shoulder and the thigh Saturday afternoon near 9th and P Street.

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Two suspects, an adult, and juvenile have been arrested. Investigators believe the shooting is gang-related.
