Inmate attack injures four officers at Fresno County Jail

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An accused murderer attacked correctional officers in the Fresno County jail Tuesday, injuring four of them.

Officers tell Action News Emilio Mancia slashed two officers in the face, causing serious injuries. Two more officers got hurt trying to subdue Mancia.

Prosecutors charged Mancia with the murder of Martin Holt in May 2016. Police say he stabbed Holt near a bus stop on Blackstone and Belmont.
