HOUSTON -- University of Houston police are knocking on doors this morning, looking for clues that might lead to a missing student.

Carl Conyers, 21, was last seen on Tuesday at his apartment, according to his roommate.

Carl Conyers, 21, has gone missing in Houston.

The ABC station in Detroit reports Conyers is the son of U.S. Representative John Conyers, of Michigan.

We're getting exclusive video into the ABC13 newsroom as police seek new clues in Carl Conyers' disappearance.

There are very few details, but what we do know is that the student had just shaved his beard shortly before he vanished.

Without question, the people who know him are very concerned about what has happened to the 21-year-old.

Houston police say if you know anything, you are urged to contact them.
