Two people are in custody in what authorities believe is the second largest fentanyl bust in the Central Valley.

MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people are in custody in what authorities believe is the second largest fentanyl bust in the Central Valley.

A CHP officer recently conducted a traffic stop on a blue Ford truck.

After getting permission to search the vehicle, a K-9 officer helped find about 37 pounds of pills, which are believed to be fentanyl.

Both the driver and passengers were arrested.
