FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Goat Cheese & Grape Appetizer

Ingredients:

30 Green Grapes- washed and dried

10 oz soft Goat Cheese

2 Cups Pistachios, Chopped

Take approximately 2 tsp mound of Goat Cheese in the palm of your hands. Begin to wrap the cheese around the grape until a ball forms. Roll the cheese in crushed Pistachios and display on serving platter. Chill for at least 30 minutes prior to serving.

Pear & Pistachio Appetizer

Ingredients:

2 Green Pears, washed & dried

4 oz Pecorino Cheese Block, Sliced into 1inch triangles

Honey

1/2 cup Pistachios Chopped

1/2 cup Dried Cranberries

Lemon or Orange Juice (not mentioned on air)

Core & slice pears. Coat sliced pears in lemon Juice to prevent from turning brown (This was not mentioned on air).

Arrange pear slices on serving platter(s), layer on sliced Cheese, Drizzle with Honey and sprinkle on dried Cranberries and crushed Pistachios. Serve immediately.
