Homicide investigation underway in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is working to identify a homicide victim who died overnight.

A utility worker called investigators out to Piedra and Elwood Roads, near Winton Park in Sanger, at about 10:30 pm Wednesday.

Deputies found a man who had been injured and he was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Officials have not released any details about the man's injuries.
