Investigators remove crashed medivac helicopter
Friends and family of the lost flight crew are still asking questions as investigators take the crashed SkyLife helicopter.

KERN COUNTY. (KFSN) -- The wreckage of the medivac helicopter that crashed Thursday was trucked away Saturday afternoon to Sacramento.

The crashed SkyLife helicopter will be inspected by the National Transportion Safety Board. The NTSB says a preliminary report could be out by next week, but it could take months before they determine what happened.

Four people died in the crash, including 42-year-old Marco Lopez of Hanford. A long-time friend and co-worker, Ryan Casey, of the nurse on board said Lopez helped train him, and many others, as a nurse in Hanford seven years ago.

He said Lopez was an intelligent and experienced nurse, but also just a whole-hearted, fun loving person who would always help anyone in need. "Joking all the time but yet at the same time he maintained a professionalism about him," Casey remembered. "Very easing going to get along with, and you knew working with him for the day was going to be a good day because Marco Lopez was there with you."
