Volunteers help keep Kings River clean

A group of volunteers is doing their part to keep the Kings River clean this summer.

The Kings River Conservancy and Fresno County water officials are hosting monthly clean-ups at the river.

Volunteers are meeting up on the third Saturday of each month to lend a hand and pick up trash left behind by visitors.

Dozens of people turned out for Saturday's event and organizers say they'll be sharing more information on future clean-ups online.
