Man suspected in stabbing death of step-father charged with murder

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno County District Attorney's office charged 42-year-old David Haun with one count of murder.

The deadly attack happened in January at Westlake Mobile Home Park on Ashlan. At first, detectives were trying to determine if Haun killed Mitchell Shaffer in self-defense.

However, after reviewing evidence and the coroner's report they believe Haun intentionally took Shaffer's life.

Family members say the two were known to have a difficult relationship.
