Hopefuls try out to sing national anthem at Fresno Grizzlies game

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dozens of people with strong singing voices are hoping for a chance to perform at Chukchansi Park.

The Fresno Grizzlies held auditions on Saturday at Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis for people to sing the national anthem at an upcoming baseball game. Individuals and group performances gave their best to the judges. Our own Action News reporter Veronica Miracle was part of that panel.

Those who left a strong impression will be invited to Chukchansi Park for a final audition next month.

Opening day for the Grizzlies is April 9.
