Perla Vazquez sentenced to 15 years to life in deadly DUI case

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Perla Vazquez was sentenced to 15-years-to-life after being found guilty of the murder of Frank Winslow in a DUI crash.

Vazquez was found guilty of second degree murder on July 10, 2014 after four days of deliberation. The fatal crash happened three years ago on Highway 168 near Shaw Avenue.

During the trial, Vazquez took the stand in her own defense. She was involved in four prior DUI related incidents before the deadly collision.
