Not so smart thief attempts to steal bike parked outside police station

A police officer didn't have to travel very far to arrest a suspect for an attempted theft.

Take a look at this surveillance video from just outside a police station in Oregon last week.

A suspect begins to try to unlock a bicycle from the bike rack right outside the building when an officer walks out and catches him red handed.

The officer used a taser to stop the thief before taking him into custody.
