11th annual American Legion Post 509 Car Show

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hot rods, good food and community are coming together for a good cause.

The American Legion Post 509 is hosting its biggest fundraiser of the year this weekend.

We spoke to the auxiliary president about how the event enables them to provide help and support to local veterans.

The 11th annual American Legion Post 509 car show is Saturday, September 19.

It will take place off First Street and Dayton Avenue in central Fresno from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Classic car and motorcycle entries are $30, and entrance is $25.
