KINGSBURG, Calif. (KFSN) -- The first day of fall is just around the corner, and a local Swedish village is coming together to celebrate the changing of the seasons.
The Kingsburg Crayfish Festival returns this weekend, once again putting community and culture on full display.
Michele Andrade with the Kingsburg District Chamber of Commerce and Leslie Carpenter, owner of Berman's Flower Shop, joined us to discuss the tradition and what to expect.
More than half a dozen participants will take part in the crayfish chowder contest that you can vote on.
Tastings are $8.
Beer tickets are already on sale at the Chamber of Commerce for just $5, as well as an engraved beer glass.
