SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tickets will soon be available for guided tours of Crystal Cave, one of the most popular visitor attractions inside Sequoia National Park.
Crystal Cave is described as one of the Sierra Nevada's most remarkable natural features.
The marble cavern is known for its delicate crystal formations, which were shaped by water over millions of years.
Although more than 275 caves are known to exist within Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Crystal Cave is the only one open to the public and only through guided tours.
Tickets for the upcoming season go on sale Monday, March 16, at 9 a.m. Guided tours will run from May 22 through November 1.
Park officials say last year's tours sold out, encouraging visitors to make reservations early.
You can find more information and purchase tickets on the Sequoia Parks Conservancy website.
