
MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Caltrans, the City of Madera, and Cal Valley Construction held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Highway 145 Improvement Project.
The nearly $22 million project will include repaving, restriping, adding bike lanes and several roundabouts throughout four miles of the highway.
Decorative lighting, wider sidewalks and additional landscaping will also provide additional shade and beauty for the downtown area.
