PARLIER, Calif. (KFSN) -- One juvenile is dead after being hit by a vehicle near Mendocino and Parlier Avenues in Parlier.
According to Parlier police, calls came in around 5:45 pm on Tuesday about a vehicle hitting a pedestrian.
When officers arrived, they found one juvenile who was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities are not releasing the victim's name or age.
Action News has obtained video from Francy's Bridal Flower Shop of the suspected vehicle crashing into the shop located north of the crash scene on Mendocino and Parlier.
Viewers can see a blue car driving at high speeds crash into the business.
Parlier Mayor Alma Beltran posted a statement on Facebook, saying:
"The City of Parlier stands with the Quiroz family during this incredibly difficult time as they grieve the heartbreaking loss of their loved one. Our entire community mourns alongside them, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family as they navigate this profound tragedy."
Parlier police have asked for assistance from the Fresno County Sheriff's Office and the California Highway Patrol for the investigation.
