Man dies after shooting in central Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a man in central Fresno.

Officers responded to a shot-spotter call just before 7 p.m. Thursday near Crystal Avenue and Griffith Way.

Police found a man in his 30s who had been shot in the upper body.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

Authorities are not yet releasing what led up to the shooting.

Police say the shooter is still at large.
