Man shot in the head in West Central Fresno, Fresno Police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man has died after being shot in West Central Fresno late Saturday night, according to Fresno Police.

Officers responded to a call about a man on the ground bleeding from the head on West McKinley Avenue near Marks Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound to the head.

Homicide detectives are working to identify the victim.

No other details have been released and no arrests have been announced.
