Man struck and killed on Highway 99 off-ramp in downtown Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man believed to be in his 50s has died after being struck by a semi-truck in downtown Fresno.

Fresno Police say the crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Highway 99 off-ramp to Fresno Street.

Officers say the man was in the crosswalk when he was struck.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
