Morning commute on Highway 99 in Fresno snarled due multi-vehicle crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The investigation continues into a crash that snarled traffic on Highway 99 during the busy morning commute in Fresno.

The California Highway Patrol says it happened on southbound 99 near the Olive Avenue exit just after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The collision involved several vehicles including a van that landed on it's side.

Paramedics also treated several people.

The extent of those injuries or how the crash happened has not been released.
