Search continues after vehicle accident near Kirch Flat Campground in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Multiple agencies responded late last night to a vehicle accident reported on the upper portion of the Kings River near Kirch Flat Campground, southwest of Balch Camp.

According to Cal Fire, crews assisted the Fresno County Sheriff's Office in searching the area for a possible victim.

Cal Fire also released images showing firefighters working along the riverbank during the response.

Despite the extensive nighttime search, no one was found.

Cal Fire says that the search effort is continuing today in coordination with the sheriff's office.
