Small grass fire contained near Highway 99 in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A small grass fire has been contained after igniting in a field just before 3:30 p.m. on Sunday in Fresno County.

According to CAL FIRE, the fire spread to a quarter of an acre near Springfield and Dinuba Avenues west of Highway 99.

It was contained by firefighters within 10 minutes.

There were no impacts to Highway 99 or surrounding streets. No structures were burned.
