Teen hospitalized after being shot in Atwater, police say

ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- A teenager is hospitalized after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in Atwater on Saturday afternoon, officers say.

Atwater Police were called around 12:15 p.m. to the area of Olive Avenue near Vine Street, where officers located the victim.

The victim was taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown.

The shooting remains under investigation.
