West Fresno Family Resource Center hosts back-to-school event at Chukchansi Park

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One of Fresno's largest back-to school events returned to Chukchansi Park.

The annual event was put on by the West Fresno Family Resource Center.

Families were invited to receive free school supplies, health screenings, haircuts and clothing.

More than 50 community organizations were in attendance to help kids start school ready.

The program coordinate with the resource center says its great to serve thousands of children every year.

This was the 24th year of the back to school health fair.
