Bataller: After Further Review
After further review, the lack of offense might be on the minds of Red Wavers, but Bulldog head coach Tim DeRuyter will want to take a close look at his defense.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- After further review, the lack of offense might be on the minds of Red Wavers, but Bulldog head coach Tim DeRuyter will want to take a close look at his defense, especially when it comes to surrendering big plays.

Wyoming racked up almost 700 yards as an offensive unit Saturday night, and 269 of those yards came on just four plays. True freshman running back Brian Hill set a Mountain West record, totaling 387 yards by himself. Hill's biggest play came in the fourth quarter on an 89-yard rush down the sideline.

If Fresno State wants to have any shot at winning its last three games to become bowl eligible, it will need to tighten up a lot of holes on the defensive side of the football.
