Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry's signature shoe goes a long way in terms of inspiration beyond the court.

On Friday, San Diego Padres right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. sported a custom pair of Under Armour Curry 4 cleats in their 3-2 loss against the San Francisco Giants. He went 1-for-4 with an RBI.

The cleats feature a "lemon ice" primary base with a metallic gold finish. Curry also hand-wrote the Philippians 4:13 bible scripture, "I can do all things through Christ..." along the shoe's midsole. The guard writes the same scripture on each pair of his own game-worn sneakers.

Tatis Jr., 25, has a significant cleat collection -- he's previously played in assorted custom pairs of Air Jordan retro shoes. Against the Giants last Saturday, he wore City Connect Jordan cleats inspired by the jewelry brand Tiffany & Co.

Tatis Jr. is currently batting .297 on the season with three homers and six RBIs.
