Navy: Jets collide over Nevada
FALLON, Nev. (AP) - June 13, 2008 Base spokesman Zip Upham says two crew members have been rescued
and are safe. Upham said he didn't know about the status of a third
crew member.
Upham says an F-5 Tiger and F-18 Hornet collided late Friday
morning near Middlegate, about 110 miles east of Reno.
He says an air crew picked up the two F-5 pilots but that he
doesn't know about the condition of the F-18 pilot.
