Police say 23-year old Kyle Martin and 37-year old Anthony Flores threatened the responding officer with a fire extinguisher when he arrived. Investigators said Flores threw the extinguisher at the officer and that's when he opened fire.
Flores was shot in the finger and it had to be amputated. Both suspects are at the Merced County Jail on $30,000 dollars bail.
