The House of Representatives has defeated a bill to postpone the upcoming digital TV transition. The vote came down late Wednesday morning.

On Monday, the senate voted to delay the transition to digital TV until June. House Republicans have now succeeded in overturning that delay.

The defeat is a setback for the Obama administration, who claims too many Americans are not ready for the switchover.

The transition is scheduled to happen on February 17th.
