City councilmember's debated the mayor's budget revisions for hours Thursday evening ... Looking to close a $26-million gap.
Most of the items were approved, including shifting general fund money to pay for debts ... and cutting $25,000.00 from each council district.
Councilman Lee Brand wanted to shift $80-thousand from the downtown and community revitalization department -- to the police department.
But that effort failed to get enough votes.
