Garrett Smith-Fuentz died early Tuesday morning when his car collided with a truck on M Street near University. The Merced College student graduated from Merced High.
Hundreds of friends and several family members met at the high school to share their memories of the twenty year old. Garrett's younger brother said he missed wrestling with him. Others spoke about his love for the Green Bay Packers... and his ability to make them smile.
Family members tell Action News they've been amazed by the outpouring of support from the community.
