It happened just after 6 a.m. Saturday morning on East Avenue near Central Avenue south of Fresno. Investigators say the robbers, armed with metal pipes and guns, made their way inside the home after one of the residents answered the front door. The suspects beat the man and woman who live there with a pipe and stole a television and a gun.
Both victims had to be hospitalized.
