Bicyclist found dead near Fresno County intersection

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A bicyclist was found dead near an intersection in Fresno County on Wednesday night.

The discovery was made around 9:20 pm in the area of Elm and Laguna avenues.

The California Highway Patrol originally said the bicyclist had died after being hit by a vehicle.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office has since clarified that the bicyclist was never hit, but instead died of natural causes.
