Witnesses said the students were shot in their seats on the second-floor of a classroom. Investigators have not released a motive in the shootings or the names of the victims and suspect.
College Campus Shooting in Baton Rouge
KFSN Police say they received word of the shooting at the college just after 8:30 a.m. Police responded quickly to get everyone to safety. "We've taken everyone who was inside building and locked down the building and separated them into areas to determine non-witnesses versus witnesses who either saw something happened or who may have information about the shooter and what possibly precipitated all this," said Don Kelly of the Baton Rouge Police Department.
