Officers got a 911 call yesterday afternoon and went to a Mendota duplex. Deputies found the victim dead on the floor inside the home. Officers say there were signs of domestic violence. "It was a 911 hang up call. Officers responded and found the body of the deceased female," said Richard Gallegos with the Fresno County Sheriff's Department.
Neighbors say the woman lived in the home with her husband, Rafael Rivera and two daughters. Sheriff's investigators have not yet made contact with Rivera.
