An epidemiologist with the San Juan Basin Health Department says they had just participated in an event where students purchase food, games and crafts with fake money they earned for good behavior.
The students began experiencing stomach aches, nausea and vomiting five minutes after eating.
At least one student admitted faking an illness to get the afternoon off.
