37-year-old Hue Cooks is being sought on multiple felony counts including kidnapping and attempted murder.
Police say Cooks took the two victims hostage on New Year's Eve, but they managed to escape.
Saturday morning the Clovis Police Department and swat team served a search warrant at Cooks' Clovis home.
They did not find him, but they say they did find evidence of the crime.
