Bad flu season pushes orange juice sales

FRESNO, Calif.

The Wall Street Journal says in January, orange juice sales rose by more than five percent, despite an increase in juice prices. Experts say a rise in cold and flu cases is behind the increased sales -- with people looking for increased Vitamin C, which is usually associated with citrus.

The journal says it's the older generations who are buying more orange juice because they're more vulnerable to cold viruses.
