FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Bullard High School teacher is pressing charges against a student for assault after the student punched her twice last week.
Police said on December 7, a male student punched the teacher while returning from the principal's office for getting in trouble.
Police say he also pushed a female instructional aide at the same time.
This comes less than a week after Bullard teachers rallied over the lack of discipline and security on campus. And it comes just a month after another teacher was punched while breaking up a fight between two female students.
The case is now in the hands of the district attorney's office.
No word on whether the aide will press charges too.
