Fresno to get $70 million in greenhouse gas funding

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Mayor Ashley Swearengin announced the City of Fresno will receive $70 million in funding from recent environment bills signed by Governor Jerry Brown in downtown Fresno.

Swearengin said the money could be used for transportation, downtown Fresno development, or high speed rail. She said the city will be looking for the public's comments on how citizens feel the money should be use.
