FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Many neighborhoods in the Central Valley are gearing up for the first weekend in December with elaborate Christmas lights and decorations.

UPDATE: The homeowners have taken down the display citing concerning social media comments. However, they also said they received a lot of support for the display on social media as well and said they may put the display back up. The homeowners have also asked that ABC30 remove their picture from our story.

One Clovis neighborhood, Cindy Lane, otherwise called Candy Cane Lane, will be noticed for a different kind of display. One homeowner, who chose to not be identified, has set up a display that's an ode to hunters.

In a picture of the display sent to Action News, you can see the front yard is filled with the normal lights on trees and deer lit up in bright white lights on the grassy area.

However, upon closer inspection, you'll see a deer up in a perch holding a rifle. Over the deer's left shoulder another deer in lights is hanging upside down from a tree with red lights below it in an effort to simulate blood.

Candy Cane Lane opens on December 1st.
