Family, friends gather at vigil in memory of woman hit and killed by car in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A vigil was being held for 68-year-old Darlene Dalton who was struck by a car while in a crosswalk near Shields and Millbrook Avenues.

Witnesses told police the woman may have fallen or tripped right before the crash.

Dalton worked at McLane High School and was employed with Fresno Unified for 35 years.
