Christmas Parade brings holiday spirit to Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of people packed the streets of Downtown Fresno on Saturday for the annual Christmas Parade.

This year's theme was Candy Canes and Christmas Carols. People created floats based on their favorite holiday tunes, and many wore Santa hats or dressed up as elves and even Christmas trees.

Several local schools also participated in Saturday's parade down the Fulton Mall. Cash prizes were awarded to the floats voted best in show.
