Firefighters mop up after vegetation fire in Porterville
The flames broke out around 2:30 p.m. near Beverly Street and Prospect in Porterville.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The flames broke out around 2:30 p.m. near Beverly Street and Prospect in Porterville.

Pictures were sent to us from ABC30 Insider Steve Smith. Firefighters from the Porterville City Fire and the Tulare County Fire Department worked together to put out the flames.

Nothing was damaged or destroyed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
